Fault code:

EGR, bypass valve V107

One or more faults in the bypass valve V107 in the EGR circuit.

Possible causes:

• Defective bypass valve V107.

• Open circuit in the electrical cables or harness-to-component connectors to the bypass valve V107.

The engine control unit switches off the EGR circuit, if applicable, and the engine power is reduced.

The fault code cannot be deleted when it is active.

Carry out a general troubleshooting of the component. If other fault codes occur, troubleshoot these first.
