Fault code: BWE 596 SCANIA

Error identification:

Short circuit to supply voltage (+24 V) or reference voltage (+5 V).

Cause:

The cause can be one of the following:

• Fault in cable harness or connections.

• Short circuit to supply voltage.

Notes:

A yellow warning message is shown in the instrument cluster.

Bodywork functions that rely on logic diagrams using this output do not function correctly as long as the fault code is active.

Action:

Use BICT to find out which bodywork functions are connected to the output.

Check the connections, cable harnesses and components connected to the input.
