Fault code:

Engine control unit

Fault in the engine control unit memory.

The control unit is defective or the software was modified.

The engine only runs at increased idle speed for as long as the fault is active.

1. Clear the fault code.

2. Restart the engine control unit by switching off the voltage with the starter key. Wait one minute and switch on the voltage with the starter key.

3. Run the engine for approx. 10 minutes.

4. If the fault code recurs, renew the engine control unit.
