Fault code: EMS 5636 SCANIA

Error identification:

Fault in the circuit for hardware testing.

Cause:

The hardware check indicates a fault compared to given specifications.

Notes:

The accumulator pressure can be difficult to check.

The engine is switched off and cannot be started until the fault code has been removed.

Action:

Clear the fault code. Restart the engine control unit by switching on the ignition with the starter key. Wait one minute and switch off the ignition with the starter key.

Clear fault codes. Switch off the ignition and wait one minute. Switch on the ignition and check that the fault codes are cleared.

If the fault code is reactivated, renew the engine control unit.
