Fault code: EMS 17409 SCANIA

Error identification:

Incorrect or unreliable data.

Cause:

Internal fault in the control unit.

Notes:

The vehicle cannot be started or driven as long as the fault is active.

Action:

Check whether there is a high current consumer on 15 voltage.

Check whether the control unit is receiving a supply from any bodywork.

Check the electrical cables.

Clear the fault code memory and run the vehicle for approx. 10 minutes. Check whether the fault code has been regenerated. If the fault code has been regenerated, renew the control unit.
