Charge air temperature sensor T121

Fault in the charge air temperature sensor.

There is a short circuit to battery or open circuit in the charge air temperature sensor.

Engine power could be affected. There is a risk of black smoke.

Check the charge air temperature sensor harness-to-component connectors and cable harness.

Measure the resistance of the charge air temperature sensor. The resistance should be approx. 2,5 kohms at 20°C.

Measure the sensor voltage supply. The voltage should be approximately 5 V when the sensor is disconnected.
